TEAM KWAMBIO NASA CHALLENGE

KWAMBIO has accepted the challenge from NASA!

We have assembled a team that has conquered the Earth and is ready to conquer deep space.
Our 3D printers can produce complex products from a variety of materials for the aerospace industry. We applied our experience and came up with a 3D printer that will individually produce food for each crew member in deep space missions.

We think this technology will also come in handy on Earth. It will be used not only in remote areas of the planet, where there is a problem with nutrition, but it will be available to everyone who thinks about their health and wants to eat right.

It is believed that the provision of food in spacecraft will be carried out by growing crops in greenhouses.
But this is a delusion.


The cosmos is harsh.
The technologies of mankind do not allow the creation of huge spaceships with an internal life support system.
Space conditions of energy supply allow us to grow nutrients in closed confined boxes, in which the microclimate is easily maintained.
FOOD DEEP SPACE
The experience of KWAMBIO made it possible to create a technology for 3D printing plant and animal food, taking into account natural dietary fibers of different thicknesses, which ensure gradual resorption of the septa and proper absorption of nutrients by the walls of the stomach.
Food partitions are made of natural fibers produced from algae under conditions of complete weightlessness.

The voids are filled with nutrients produced from algae, fungi, yeast and various bacteria, which provide the astronaut's body with 21 amino acids necessary for a full-fledged human life.

The taste of ready-made meals and products is provided by a mixture of organic extracts.

Food printing can be done in two modes:

Bar

Fast printing of a multicellular cylindrical structure, inside which there are capsules-honeycombs filled with nutrients, completely isolated from each other by organic partitions that prevent chemical reactions of nutrients with each other.

Food

Long-term printing of a complete meal, taking into account the natural fiber structure and natural distribution of nutrients.

The food preparation system can receive individual astronaut data - age, gender, activity, blood tests. The information obtained can be taken into account when preparing food, with the adjustment of additional vitamins and minerals for each crew member individually.
Kwambio 3D space food is fully adapted to work in space, taking into account the behavior of liquid media in a vacuum.
